Greetings!

Thank you very much for visiting my profile. Welcome to my world which is centered on “Urging People To Excel”. It is not just a phrase ―that I coined years ago― but now, vision statement of my life as well. I pioneered this non-political and non-religious online activism plus e-volunteerism, to motivate people to excel in life. As evident from the phrase itself; “Urging People To Excel”, is a social network of people to motivate one another to create a social-synergy. Core values that bound us together at the UPTE are; Motivation, Mobilization and Mentoring.

 Following are the thematic areas that are addressed;

·         To spread messages of Hope, Optimism and Peace

·         To promote Information Literacy and Life-long Learning

·         To support the efforts for “Education and Employment for All”

·         To promote Arts, Literature and Culture

Join it in the facebook group.

By academic training and by profession I am an anthropologist. Within the discipline many subfields of anthropology has grabbed my attention those include; visual culture and media studies, applied anthropology, globalization and development.

Art present I am serving as a Fieldwork Supervisor (Research), at the Faculty of Social Sciences in the department of Anthropology, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad. I will be glad to facilitate students and researchers who are interested in anthropological studies.

Prior to my placement at the QAU, I had been rendering services as a Soft Skills Trainer for many years. At my credit, as a Resource Person, there are mentionable accomplishments. By now, I have mobilized hundreds of individuals on personal development, and have addressed leading NGOs, government and corporate organizations.

My services as a Consultant Research Anthropologist and Motivational Speaker/ Soft Skills Trainer, are available to the individual clients, companies and NGOs on appointment basis.

As an individual, I am optimistic and friendly. I like to share thoughts and ideas on excellence with others. Firmly a believer of volunteerism, I wish to urge people to excel in their lives.

Art is my passion and I want to live the life in my own way; creatively and with refined aesthetics. For my love for art I am known to a vast circle of friends with my nick name -streetpainter. It is my self assigned title to pay homage to common creative people in our surroundings. I took inspirations for this title from a character of a painter in the short story by O’ Henry titled; The Last Leaf.

I too have ventured into visual art through sketching, illustrations and photography. Some of my work and contributions to promote art and artists cab be found on my page.

My visual ventures can be seen in my foto albums. There you may also have a glance on my public appearance as a Resource Person. Visual Art and the social media are my primary tools to motivate, mobilize and mentor people.

Many thanks for your time. I wish you the best for your good wishes!

Looking forward to meet you somewhere in real world for urging people to excel!
